In-Person Training
For the in-person class you go to the class location and meet with the instructor. This is recommended if it's your first time doing this class or if you prefer hands-on training. You get to practice more using the mannequins, AED, and other equipment, and you have more time to ask questions. This course usually takes 3-5 hours depending on how much of the optional material you would like to cover (you can choose to add or exclude material that fits your situation).
Blended Learning
Blended learning allows you to take most of the class online at your convenience. An AHA course activation code will be emailed to you and you will have 30 days from the time you receive the code to complete the course. The online portion usually takes 1.5 to 3 hours depending on your pace. Once you complete the online portion you will schedule a skills session with us to complete the training. The skills session will take about 1 to 2 hours depending on how much of the optional material you want to cover.
