Heartsaver 1st Aid CPR AED Total is for people with little to no medical training who need a course completion card that meets regulatory and/or OSHA requirements.
If you not not need to meet regulatory or OSHA requirements you will want to take the regular Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED class (not Total). Total is longer and covers more topics than the regular class. There is also more testing involved.

You get to practice more using the mannequins, AED, and other equipment, and you have more time to ask questions. The class usually takes 4-5 hours to complete.

Blended Learning
Blended learning allows you to take most of the class online at your convenience. An AHA course activation code will be emailed to you and you will have 30 days from the time you receive the code to complete the course. The online portion usually takes 2 to 3.5 hours depending on your pace. Once you complete the online portion you will schedule a skills session with us to complete the training. The skills session will take about 2-3 hours to complete depending on the optional material you want to cover.

Skills Session
This is for people that have already completed the online portion of the training somewhere else, but still need to complete the skills session part of the training. The skills session usually takes about 2-3 hours to complete depending on the optional material you want to cover.
